Dolly Delagarza Love to run and have a dog who does, too? The 4th Annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Run and costume contest is Saturday, October 24, 2015.

West Texas Endurance is hosting the event, which begins at 9 a.m. along Canyon Lake 6.  A more challenging four-mile course will run through the City of Lubbock Cemetery.

The event also benefits The Morris Safe House, and donations of dog supplies for their facility are welcome the day of the race.

Runners without dogs are also welcome. There will also be a canine costume contest, puppy pedicures and a Puppy Love Kissing Booth. Doggie 'bag schwags' are included with entries.

Participants may register by visiting the West Texas Endurance website, or by visiting Cardinal's Fitness Friday, October 23 from 4-6 p.m. Race day registration is also available Saturday, October 24, from 7:30-8:30 a.m.
