Back in February of 2010, 30-year-old Natasha Harris of Invercargill, New Zealand died of a heart attack. An inquest into her death is finally going on now, and on Thursday, a pathologist testified about what he believed caused it.

He thinks she died because of the INSANE amounts of Coca-Cola she drank.

Apparently, Natasha would drink more than TWO GALLONS OF COKE every single day.  She'd have the equivalent of more than 20 12-ounce cans daily.

Between all the Coke and Natasha's poor nutrition...a lot of which came from her drinking 3,000 calories of Coke daily...she most likely suffered from hypokalemia, which is the medical term for low potassium.

People with hypokalemia can have abnormal heart rhythms, so that could explain her heart attack.  Natasha also smoked about 30 cigarettes a day, and barely ate any real food, so that didn't help.

A spokeswoman from Coke in New Zealand said, quote, "Excessive ingestion of any food product, including water, over a short period of time...can be dramatically symptomatic."
