I spoke with Jaston about the show during the Kool Morning Show. Here's what he had to say:

JASTON WILLIAMS (Performer and Playwright) is known to THE GRAND audiences for his work in the Greater Tuna plays in which he acted and was the primary writer, The Foreigner, where he played the role of Charlie, his one man show Cowboy Noises, and last summer’s I Heard That. In a career spanning forty years, he has taken on roles by such diverse writers as Shakespeare, Chekhov, Ionesco, Wilder, Genet and Sondheim, to name but a few. He performed his one man show I'm Not Lying at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., the State Theatre in Austin, and the N.O.H.O Arts Center in L.A. and received rave reviews for Cowboy Noises at Austin’s Paramount Theatre and Long Center. He has toured nationally from coast to coast for the last thirty years, filmed an H.B.O. Special of Greater Tuna, and had two command performances at The White House. He received the Texas Governors Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts by a Native Texan, the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Award, the L.A. Drama-Logue Award, Austin’s B. Iden Payne Awards, Austin’s Critics Circle Award, four nominations for D.C.’s Helen Hayes Award (Acting), and three more for writing. A Tuna Christmas was selected for publication in Best American Plays of 1995. He has just completed a four-month run of The Laramie Project and The Laramie Project--Ten Years Later at Austin’s Zach Theatre, where he will appear next winter in a revival of his award winning performance as Truman Capote in Jay Presson Allen’s Tru. Along with an upcoming tour of Camping With Gasoline next fall and winter in Texas and L.A., he is co-producing and performing the narration for a documentary about the water crisis in Texas titled, It's Not Oil, It's Water! which will film later this summer and is also hard at work on a novel set in, where else, the Texas Panhandle.
