The most honored group in the history of country music, Alabama, performs Sunday, November 16, in Lubbock’s United Supermarkets Arena.

Tickets for the one night show go on sale at all Select-A-Seat locations, online at www.selectaseatlubbock.com, and by phone at 806-770-2000 10 a.m. Friday, October 10.

Ticket prices will range from $42.50 to 62.50, all fees and taxes are included

Show promoter Gary Boren said the group Alabama was responsible for widening the appeal of country music.

According to Boren: "Alabama has had 43 no. 1 singles including 21 no. 1 hits in a row, and sold over 73 million albums. Their upbeat style and energy brought millions of new fans to country music and broadened their appeal.”

Over the years, Alabama has received more than 200 honors, including induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Alabama was also named Entertainer of the Year three times by the Country Music Association and five times by the Academy of Country Music.

The band's hits include "If You’re Gonna Play in Texas (You Gotta Have a Fiddle in the Band)," "Forty Hour Week (For A Livin')", "High Cotton" and dozens more.
