An 18-Year-Old Guy Born Without Arms Got a Music Scholarship To Play Guitar, Cello, Drums, and Piano

18-year-old George Dennehy recently graduated from Patrick Henry High School in Ashland, Virginia.

And he was awarded the 2012 Tafi Yourtee Scholarship, which is given to a Patrick Henry student who does well in the performing arts and plans to major in it at college.

There's no question that George earned the award:  He can play piano, drums, cello, and he played a guitar cover of the Goo Goo Dolls song "Iris" at this year's Ashland Strawberry Faire.

And he did it all even though he was born with NO ARMS.  George taught himself how to play each of the instruments with his FEET.  For his Strawberry Faire performance, he laid the guitar down on stage, and played while sitting in a chair.
