Is there a a particular season in Texas when car washing becomes more of a regular occurrence? Having spent time in the south, upper midwest and far west, I can say that there is!

In the south, we would frequently wash car washes in the summer or winter months when things would dry out a bit. Since spring and fall typically brought rain every few days (or even hours after a nice car wash!), washing regularly during those months was pointless.

In the upper midwest, you were a fool if you didn't wash your car weekly during the winter as the salt and sand from the roads would eat a car alive if it wasn't washed off.

In the far west, things were similar in the few months of winter -- especially if driving to a ski resort or if the valley got any freezing precipitation.

But here in the Hub City, it seems like a dusty vehicle is simply a way of life -- from the dust storms of the spring to the rains of the summer and fall and sometimes snows/icy conditions in the winter. Also consider the fact that it seems our roads are always under construction in one way or another. In short, car wash time is all the time.
