One fan's endlessly entertaining lip sync to Bon Jovi's 'Livin' on a Prayer' wasn't just a hit on the Jumbotron during a recent Boston Celtics game. It has become a web sensation that has now sent the song back to the Billboard Hot 100 more than 25 years after its release.

'Livin' on a Prayer' has remained Bon Jovi's signature song since topping the charts more than a quarter century ago. But you've never seen it quite like this.

The clip, taken during what appears to be a commercial break during a basketball game, finds the intrepid performer at first simply enjoying the oft-played song about a working couple's struggles. Then he spots the camera. Soon, he's traveling up and down the aisles of the arena, hamming it up every step of the way.

He throws in a few high fives, hugs and kisses some fellow fans and plays a little air guitar. It's not a perfect performance: He flubs some lines and doesn't quite fire up a handful of people in the crowd. But nothing stops this dude from rockin' out.

Then the clip suddenly stops, most likely because the game has resumed. But fortunately for us, the video has been preserved for everyone to enjoy -- even those who didn't have tickets to the game.

According to Billboard, as of Nov. 20 the track stood at No. 25 on the Hot 100, and No. 5 on their Streaming Songs list on the strength of 5.1 million streams in the U.S. alone. The video has reportedly been seen more than 11 million times, and shared by 1.6 million people on Facebook. In other words, get ready for more of this the next time you're at a ballgame.
