Bon Jovi is looking for student leaders making a difference in the Lubbock and surrounding communities as part of the Bon Jovi “Because We Can” Community Service College Campaign.

If you are a student making a difference through community service, now is your unique opportunity to further build upon your proven leadership skills as ‘Roadie for a Day’ or ‘Photographer for a Day’ on the Bon Jovi Tour.

Work in the management and production department on the day of the United Spirit Arena show March 17 and learn the ins and outs of the touring industry and the live entertainment field.   Selected students will have the opportunity to work with the crew backstage, interview crew members, take photos as if they were local media…AND see it all come together that night by watching the Bon Jovi show live.

Participation in the Bon Jovi “Because We Can” Community Service College Campaign involves a competitive selection process with limited spots available.  To be eligible to apply, students must be currently enrolled in classes at Lubbock Christian University, South Plains College, Texas Tech University or Wayland Baptist University and must embody a positive humanitarian spirit that helps those around them live a better life.

To apply, please complete and submit the following application with a 800-1000 word essay describing your community involvement as outlined in the application and what this opportunity would mean to you. Applications must be submitted no later than 10pm Sunday, March 10 to arenanews@ttu.edu.

Winning students will be selected and notified by 2pm Thursday, March 14. Winners must be available to report to the arena at 12noon March 17.
