Carino’s Declares “Dine for the March of Dimes Day”
WHO: Carino’s to benefit the March of Dimes March for Babies campaign.
WHAT: Tim Mason, General Manager of Carino’s in Lubbock has generously offered 15% of all proceeds for the day to be donated to the March of Dimes. Mr. Mason has a daughter, Amanda, now 19 years old who was born at 23 weeks and was one of the smallest babies to survive at this time. She was a recipient of Surfactant therapy, a treatment developed with the help of March of Dimes funded research and is used in premature babies’ lungs to help them breathe. Dollars raised will go towards lifesaving research and outreach programs to help the March of Dimes save babies from the #1 cause of newborn death – premature birth and to help ALL babies be born healthy!
