Over the past few days, a viral video has been circulating where a comedian buys Abercrombie & Fitch clothes, and distributes them to homeless people. He's calling the campaign "Fitch The Homeless" and it's designed to hurt the Abercrombie brand. You shouldn't participate and here's why...

There's no doubt that John Carpenter's 1981 sci-fi / action flick "Escape From New York" is one of the coolest movies of all time.

But when Air Force One crash lands and the president is taken hostage by the city's leader, The Duke, it's up to eyepatch-wearing antihero Snake Plissken...played by Kurt Russell...to rescue him. Well, since Hollywood can't seem to do anything but remake, reboot and sequelize stuff we've already seen, it's no surprise that there's a new version in the works.

One of the most important figures in the music scene of the late 60's and early to mid 70's, Levon Helm of The Band died yesterday at the age of 71. He succumbed to throat cancer. I mentioned on my show today that I once got a chance to meet Levon while waiting in line for coffee at Love Field in Dallas. It's still one of the coolest experiences I've ever had.
