With the ‘Harry Potter‘ films wrapped up and the ‘Twilight’ series coming to a close, all eyes are on the next young adult sensation to hit the big screen: Suzanne Collins’ ‘The Hunger Games.’ The first teaser trailer for the hotly anticipated film adaptation premiered at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, introduced by Jennifer Lawrence, who portrays ‘Games’ heroine Katniss Everdeen.
In a weekend that saw many East Coast theaters closed because of Hurricane Irene, ‘The Help’ remained atop the box office for the second week in a row.
