"Moore Excitement" has reached the pinnacle of college football, as Jerry Moore was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame on Thursday. Moore was the head coach for three different teams during his career: North Texas (1979 & 1980), Texas Tech (1981-1985) and Appalachian State (1989-2012).
In order to force Donald Sterling to sell the L.A. Clippers, three-fourths of the other owners would have to vote for that to happen. That's 23 of the 29 non-Sterling owners. You've probably figured out by now that I have a deep love and passion for High School Football. There is something to be said about the fight and heart that goes into each play, each drive and each second of every quarter that those kids are on the field.
This Wednesday, Oct. 30, United Supermarkets will kick off the annual Toys for Tots campaign at the former United Supermarkets location near the corner of 29th Drive and Marsha Sharp Freeway, which will serve as the toy drop-off and distribution headquarters for this year’s drive. Texas Tech Head Football Coach, Kliff Kingsbury will be in attendance to donate the ‘first toy’ and United will present a $2,500 check to Toys for Tots.
