If you cut about 90% or so out of last night's Emmy Awards, they were actually pretty entertaining. Here's a recap of the entertaining stuff that happened, or, as we like to call it, the "good version" of last night's awards ceremony.
One of the best scenes in the entire series was when underdog Hurley saves the day by jump -starting the Volkswagen bus. It's made even better when Three Dog Night's 'Shambala' starts blaring from the speakers of this 'time machine' from the 70's!
PBS mainstay 'Mr. Wizard' was so crotchety back in the day that comedy writers Mike Schuster and Diane Bullock had to make two videos just to contain all of his hilarious put-downs and snide remarks directed towards his young sidekicks. (You can watch the first Mr. Wizard supercut here.).
Usually, when Hollywood turns old TV shows into movies, it's pretty lame. But this is one of those rare cases where it could turn out AMAZING.
Summer vacations are done. The kids are back in school...and that just leaves one more thing. A new TV season!
Katie Couric's new daytime show, 'Katie,' starts today. Maybe if we get all of this out of our systems, she'll have a smooth run. Or maybe it will just be wacky zoom city all over the place. Either way, sounds entertaining to us. Hopefully there won't be as many swear words as there are in some of these bloopers we found. Although, again, either way sounds entertaining to us.
A comedian in L.A. named Josh Androsky is a hero to college dropouts everywhere right now, because he went on "The Price Is Right" while he was drunk and on MUSHROOMS.
I don't know WHY someone did this, but it's AWESOME.
You didn't ask for it, but yet another '80s property will be recycled and forced down your throat at a theater near you. It's 'ALF'...the show about an alien who crash-lands on Earth and ends up living with a suburban family.
Leading up to the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, several celebrities did PSAs urging local residents not to drive, because of all the traffic that was expected. You might even recognize a few of them.
If you have Dish Network, you can't get AMC anymore, which airs "Mad Men", "Breaking Bad", and the zombie show, "The Walking Dead".
And to protest being dropped, AMC posted a video on YouTube yesterday called "Zombie Experiment NYC".
