The Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos each won their respective conference championship games on Sunday to advance to Super Bowl XLVIII in New Jersey on Feb. 2. Here's a recap of Sunday's action:
The BCS era came to an end with one of the best games in history as No. 1 Florida State rallied for the game-winning touchdown with just 13 seconds left to secure a 34-31 win over No. 2 Auburn in the BCS National Championship Game.
Trevor Knight wasn’t the Heisman finalist on the field. But he certainly played like one, throwing for 348 yards and four touchdowns as No. 11 Oklahoma upset the two-time defending champion Crimson Tide, 45-31.
Although Alabama won’t be playing for a third consecutive national championship, the Crimson Tide can still go out with a big win as two of college football’s most storied programs face off in New Orleans.
