Dillard’s department stores present the ‘Southern Living Christmas & Year-Round Celebrations’ cookbook benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest.
Dillard’s Department Stores is once again partnering with Southern Living and Ronald McDonald House Charities in producing and selling their Holiday cookbook. All net proceeds from the following stores: Lubbock, Abilene, Midland, Odessa and San Angelo will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities® of the Southwest. Last year the Lubbock chapter received a check for $15,292.83!
All of the money raised through this great effort will help to support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families by keeping families together during their child’s serious illness or injury.
Ronald McDonald House Charities® is a non-profit charity that serves families with hospitalized sick or injured children in Lubbock, the Permian Basin and in the 68 counties of Texas. The three programs, the Ronald McDonald House®, Ronald McDonald Care Mobile® serving Ector County and the Permian Basin, and the Ronald McDonald Family Rooms®, located at Covenant Women’s and Children’s and University Medical Center (UMC) in Lubbock and in Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, are there to sustain families as they struggle with their child’s illness. There is no charge to families to use any of the three programs.
