Donald Fagen, Michael McDonald and Boz Scaggs, will tour again this summer as the Dukes of September Rhythm Revue. The three most recently went out on the road together in 2010, where they drew from both their respective catalogs and the R&B and soul that they grew up loving.

The Dukes of September is an extension of the New York Rock & Soul Revue shows the rock legends put together from 1989 to 1983. The concerts marked a return to the stage of Fagen, who stopped touring with Steely Dan in 1974. An album, ‘The New York Rock and Soul Revue: Live at the Beacon,’ was released in 1991.

The tour will begin on June 20 in St. Louis, Mo. They will play mostly theaters and sheds, including two nights at the Beacon Theatre in August, before finishing on Aug. 24 in Indianapolis. Ironically, no dates in September are scheduled.
