Elton John Is Recovering After Having His Exploded Appendix Removed
Elton John is recovering after having a successful surgery to remove his exploded appendix. He had the operation last Thursday and is currently taking it easy in France.
It's unclear when Elton might return to the road...however, he's scheduled to perform in London on September 2nd, when he accepts something called the "Brit Icon Award."
Last month, Elton canceled a series of European shows due to the appendicitis, which he didn't even realize he had. He said he'd done NINE shows in "agonizing pain," before being diagnosed with a burst appendix.
