Etta James passed away last Friday. And not surprisingly, everyone ran out and bought her music. According to "Billboard", sales of her music jumped 378% after her death.

Her catalog sold 30,000 copies in the week that ended Sunday. That's compared to 6,000 copies the week before.  And you know MOST of those albums were sold over the weekend after word of her death made the rounds.

Etta's digital downloads were also up 1,091% from the week before. She sold 118,000 downloads, and more than half of those were copies of her most famous song "At Last".
