Former Lubbock Weatherman Matt Laubhan Evacuates His Tupelo, Mississippi Studio on Live TV

A large tornado hit Tupelo, Mississippi yesterday afternoon. And a former Lubbock weatherman named Matt Laubhan was live on the air for an NBC affiliate when his studio had to be evacuated.

He stayed on the air until the last possible second, and then everyone ran to the basement. The tornado ended up knocking them off the air for a while. But luckily, all of the employees are apparently okay. And no one in Tupelo was killed.

The feed cuts out for a few seconds at :43, and then he tells everyone to evacuate. There are some photos of damage in Tupelo here.
