Here’s What It’s Like to Be in a Firefight in Afghanistan, and Have Dozens of Taliban Bullets Barely Miss You

Someone posted a crazy video on YouTube yesterday, where a U.S. soldier in Afghanistan is being SHOT AT by the Taliban for over three straight minutes.

According to the YouTube post, his whole squad was pinned down.  So he ran out in the open to draw the Taliban's fire.

It also says he got hit four times, including in the side of his helmet.  And apparently none of the other bullets made it through his flack jacket.  But at one point, he starts yelling that he's "hit."

Bullets hit the ground next to him at 1:09 and 1:11.  And he yells "I'm hit" after his gun gets shot out of his hands at 1:59.
