It's an interesting question: If Lubbock had an 'official' drink, what would it be called? What would be the ingredients?

I've heard the rumor that the Chilton...a vodka and soda with lemon and salt on ice...was invented in Lubbock by one Dr. Chilton. I'm not sure if that's true or just a local legend though. Maybe YOU know. If so, please enlighten us!

Anyway, here's my 'Lubbock' drink:

'The Red Raider'

You'll need:
-Jagermeister
-Cranberry
-Soda

Directions:
Mix equal parts of all three ingredients and pour into a high ball glass over ice. Garnish with a black liquorice stick for stirring.

I also like the 'Water the Yard':

You'll need:
-Water
-a cup
-A lawn

Directions:
Fill cup (the bigger the better) using the sink in your kitchen. Step into your yard. Pour water from cup into mouth making sure not to swallow any of the water. Make slow spinning movements as you intermittently spit water from your mouth onto lawn. Repeat until green...the lawn or yourself.

WARNING!
The 'Water Your Yard' may result in a fine of up to $200 if enjoyed on a day not specified by the last digit of your address! More info HERE.

Now, make one up and tell me about it! Make sure to include the name of the drink (it doesn't have to include alcohol, by the way) and directions to make it!
