Popeye the Sailor debuted in a comic strip in 1929. And it's taken 83 years for science to finally prove he was a GENIUS.

According to a new study from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, eating spinach like Popeye does actually has the same effect on you as it has on him...it translates into MUSCLES.

The researchers found that the nitrates in spinach are a key toward developing stronger, more toned muscles.

And you get enough nitrates for the effect from just eight ounces of spinach a day.
