Just About Every Sitcom Has Done a ‘Very Special’ Episode About a Serious Subject and Here Are the Top 50 [VIDEO]
Just about every sitcom in the ’80s and ’90s did at least one episode where they tackled a serious issue…like drug abuse, drunk driving, or anorexia. And those episodes were always AWFUL. So Jest.com put together a montage of the top 50.
Number one is Will Smith on ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ talking about his ‘deadbeat dad.’ And the top ten includes ‘Happy Days’ tackling racism, ‘Punky Brewster’ teaching kids not to hide inside old refrigerators, and Jessie Spano from ‘Saved by the Bell’ getting hooked on energy pills.
A few newer shows also made the list…including ‘iCarly’ talking about military families, and ‘Hannah Montana’ talking about diabetes.
