Kool 98 Celebrates the Birthday Of Jim Morrison Of The Doors [VIDEO]

Some people remember their first kiss or their first dog as a child. I don't really remember any of that, but I do remember the first time that I ever heard Jim Morrison sing. I was 12 years old the first time I ever heard of The Doors. When all the other kids were outside playing I was in the basement with my dad. He had such an amazing album collection. We would sit down and just listen to music. One day he told me I could listen to anything from his collection. The first album I grabbed was The Doors "Alive, She Cried" and I have been hooked ever since. I was obsessed with the Doors. I read as much information as I could find on them. It was from that moment that I knew that music was going to be my life.

Jim Morrison will always hold a very special place in my Rock And Roll heart. Sadly Jim lost his life in Paris, France on July 3rd 1971. It has been 40 years since his death and yet he still inspires generations after generations of people with his music and poetry.
