The South Plains Honor Flight will include a three-day, two-night trip to visit many special sites in Washington, including the WWII Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, the Vietnam Wall, Marine Corps (Iwo Jima) Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Air Force Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Navy Memorial, and the U. S. Capitol. Day one:

Flag line reception and send off - Lubbock Preston Smith International airport
Arrive Washington D.C. – reception – welcome from Military and Dignitaries
Visit WWII and Korean Memorials - wreath laying ceremonies
Dinner - Sequoia’s on Potomac
U.S. Air Force Memorial

Day two:

Visit Marine Corps Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, FDR Memorial, US Navy Seabee Memorial - wreath laying ceremonies at each

Day three:

Viet Nam Wall – wreath and flag ceremony
US Navy Memorial
Tour U.S. Capitol and House of Representatives
Return to Lubbock
