Matt and Sarah Walker are offering a $1,000 reward for the return of their $13,000 custom smoker that was stolen in broad daylight.

Everything Lubbock reports that a neighbor's security camera caught the red Ford Explorer pull up to the smoker and pull it away on the afternoon of Thursday, July 2.

The Walkers bought the slow-cooker in Kansas last month and had only used it once. They told reporter Wes Rapaport that they were only gone for 30-45 minutes when the theft occurred.

The couple said they saved up for a year to buy it and had plans to use the smoker to compete in grilling competitions.

If you know anything about the smoker, you can contact Lubbock Police's Property Crimes Section at (806) 775-2769.
