Video game fanatics and collectors from across Lubbock gathered at Tornado Gallery in the Depot District Sunday afternoon (Nov. 22) to buy, trade and just nerd out at a video game swap meet.

The event, put on by local organization Lubbock-Con, boasted hundreds of older video games and consoles available to buy or trade for, including the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Super NES, Sega Genesis and N64.

The $5 door fee for the video game swap meet will go toward funding February's Lubbock-Con event, said organizer DeNae Griffith.

Griffith added that she's hoping to put on a video game swap meet in Lubbock every few months.
