Lubbock Moonlight Musicals to Hold Open Auditions for Mary Poppins This Weekend

Lubbock Moonlight Musicals will hold open auditions for their upcoming production of Mary Poppins this Friday and Saturday.

Those interested in a role should appear at 2806 Avenue A on Friday, January 16, between 6 and 9 p.m. and Saturday, January 17, from 10a.m.-5p.m.

Lubbock Moonlight Musicals reports all roles are open excluding Mary Poppins and Bert.

Those intending to audition should prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre piece as well as bring accompanying sheet music. Producers would prefer the piece not be from Mary Poppins. Pre-recorded accompaniment is not allowed.

Mary Poppins will run at the Lubbock Civic Center Theatre May 7-10, 2015.
