Lubbock’s Salvation Army Offers Free Community Block Party on National Night Out

WHAT: The Salvation Army will host a FREE night of safe, kid-friendly, family fun in celebration of National Night Out which encourages individuals to leave their homes and spend time with their neighbors.
This year the block party will include live music by the Experience Life worship band and The Heights Fellowship worship band featuring Ryze, a Christian rapper. Landon King, DJ from Lubbock’s Kool 98, will emcee the event.
The event will also include: water slides, sand volleyball, Bingo with prizes, hot dogs, dessert and so much more!
WHO: -Everyone is welcome!
-Experience Life Worship Band
-The Heights Fellowship Worship Band featuring Ryze
-Local families spending the evening communing with their neighbors
WHEN: Tuesday, August 3 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm
WHERE: Dave Freriks Park located at 1600 Avenue K (Corner of 16th Street and Avenue K in downtown Lubbock)
