Now it’s a known fact that New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox are longtime rivals, but at last night’s game against Arizona just after the third inning you could hear “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond being played.

The Yankees wanted to do a special tribute to those who may have had lost somebody or even somebody who was injured in the Boston Explosion on Monday.

“Thank you NY Yankees for playing, ‘Sweet Caroline’ for the people of Boston, you scored a home run in my heart.” Neil Diamond wrote on his Twitter page. Needless to say, many people are happy that the baseball rival can be put aside and everybody come together to support Boston.

New York Yankees ended up beating Arizona on Tuesday night, 4-2.

Very classy Yankees.

I honestly can’t wait to be in their stadium in June to watch them play against the Texas Rangers.
