Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But that doesn't mean it has to drain your wallet.

Brenda Duby with United Supermarkets shared a simple but delicious food hack involving oatmeal that is guaranteed to save time and money while satisfying your belly. It's overnight oatmeal, and it's delicious.

Basically, all you need to do is put some old-fashioned oats in a jar with milk, a little maple syrup and some chia seeds. Feel free to toss in some pumpkin, too. Then, stir it all up and put it in the refrigerator. You can warm it up in the microwave for a more traditional oatmeal taste if that's your thing.

According to Duby, this meal could save a family an average of $45/month. Sounds good to us!
