The trusted, Merriam-Webster has added more words to its latest dictionary, over 1700 in fact.  As you’d expect some of the new entries are because of changes with the Internet.

Some of the new entries include: net neutrality, dark money, click bait, click fraud, emoji, meme and photobomb. Two abbreviations have also been added: NSFW (Not Safe For Work) and WTF.

In other news with words, Collins Dictionary updated its Scrabble dictionary last week, officially adding 6,500 playable words to the game. New approved Scrabble words include: LOLZ, Facetime, waah, checkbox and emoji.
