It's up in the air if Eddie Ray Routh will be found guilty of the murder of Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield, and prosecutors avoided a mistrial before resting.

The jury in Stephenville, Texas was allowed to watch the interrogation video of Eddie Ray Routh. Texas Ranger Danny Briley was the man who interviewed Routh after his capture.

The Dallas Morning News reported that when Routh was asked if he knew right from wrong, he replied "yes, sir." And if he could talk to the families: “I would tell them I’m sorry for what I’ve done.”

There were also some bizarre statements made during the interrogation which could have been attributed to his use of alcohol and marijuana earlier in the day. It will be up to the jury to decide if this was psychosis from PTSD or not.

Routh's mother Jodi also took the stand in her son's defense. The prosecution asked if she regretted not telling Kyle of threats Routh had made to kill himself and his family. "I was just looking for help for my son," she said.

The prosecution also avoided a mistrial when glass vials were mistakenly presented as evidence, but in reality were chemicals used by the lab.
