Rebuilding of 34th Street in Lubbock?

People who expect their travel or business along 34th Street to affected by a major rebuilding of the street will have a chance to air their views and ask questions tonight at a public meeting. The focus of the meeting will be on the design and schedule for rebuilding 34th from Indiana to Avenue Q, and a schematic for future reconstruction of 34th from Slide Road to I-27.

The meeting about the project will be held in the gymnasium of the Sunset Church of Christ’s Family Life Center, located at 3631 34th Street. The event will begin with an open house at 6 p.m., followed at 7 p.m. by a technical presentations and then questions and comments.
