It's an exciting day for 'Star Wars' fans! The teaser for the new installment to the franchise, 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens,' debuted today (Nov. 28).

While the teaser's release date was initially unknown, earlier this week the Bad Robot Twitter account shared a note from director J.J. Abrahms, which read: "A tiny peek at what we're working on -- this Friday in select theaters. Hoe you enjoy and have a most excellent Thanksgiving!" A footnote indicated the clip would be 88 seconds long.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the teaser is only available in approximately 30 theaters nationwide. Luckily for fans (and anyone curious to see what's in store for the latest 'Star Wars' movie!), you can watch the trailer online as well!
