Backdrift? Strong Winds Cause Waterfalls in Australia to Flow Bizarrely Backwards [VIDEO]

Waterfalls flowing upward

It’s been a battle of the elements in Australia this week, where wind gusts moving at 75 miles per hour were so strong they forced waterfalls in the Sydney area to flow upward.

Sydney was recently dumped with a month’s worth of rain in day, causing rivers to overflow, and making waterfalls more susceptible to wind’s advances than they would usually be.
