Meals on Wheels – 'Easy as Pie' Fundraiser

This year’s project will take place from November 10-17. For a $5 donation to Meals on Wheels, participants will receive a coupon for a free Sara Lee pie. Varieties include: blueberry, homestyle apple, dutch apple, cherry, pumpkin, mince, sweet potato, and peach.

Salvation Army Lubbock to Host BBQ Fundraiser This Friday

The Salvation Army’s youth group is hosting a BBQ dinner on Friday, March 23 from 5-7 to raise funds for a mission trip to New Braunfels and Killeen this summer. The youth will be helping to expand Salvation Army outreach in those areas.

It’s time to mark your calendar for the 22nd Annual Mayors’ Beans & Cornbread Luncheon, Hospice of Lubbock’s largest fundraiser of the year. The event will take place on Friday, March 4 at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Banquet Hall. The luncheon is hosted from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. by mayors from all over the region.
