As I was going through some of the Rock And Roll news, I came across an article about Jerry Lee Lewis and got me thinking about his career and what he has accomplished. Here are some facts about "The Killer" Jerry Lee Lewis.

It was on this date in 1958 that Jerry Lee Lewis performed "Great Balls Of Fire" and "Breathless" on American Bandstand.

After he married his 13 year old cousin Jerry Lee Lewis was blacklisted from radio and even was dropped by the people who supported him in television including Dick Clark. He had gone from making $10,000 a show to only $250 a night.

Jerry Lee Lewis is one of the last survivors of the 50's rock and roll scene and the last of Sun Records Million Dollar Quartet that also included Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley.
