Most of John Fogerty's new album, 'Wrote a Song for Everyone,' finds the former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman looking back on his distinguished catalog. But he did make room for a couple of new songs -- and one of them, 'Mystic Highway,' now has its own video.

Freed from the confines of Creedence Clearwater Revival, which had become a stifling presence in the final years, John Fogerty took the opportunity of his debut solo album to revisit, pay tribute to and replicate the country music he occasionally played with his old band. But instead of going about it the traditional country-music way – with a bunch of musicians sitting together in a room and performing the music live as the tapes roll – Fogerty played every single instrument on ‘The Blue Ridge Rangers’ himself.

Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters and Nirvana fame assembled an all-star cast of musicians for his new documentary 'Sound City,' and for the lucky fans in select cities, he has been taking the show on the road with him. Following performances in Park City, Utah, and Los Angeles, the Sound City Players hit New York City for a one-night stand last night (Feb. 13) at Hammerstein Ballroom.
