There's a decent chance you've never heard of the tiny island country called Niue. It's a country with 2,000 residents that's not even half the size of Rhode Island, located about 1,500 miles from New Zealand in the Pacific Ocean. But the Force is strong with them.

The good people at New Friends of Bushy Beach (NFOBB) in New Zealand care for and rehabilitate sick and injured penguins. When they took a yellow-eyed penguin named Jay under their wing, his foot was injured so badly they weren’t sure he’d even survive.

We’re happy to report Jay is up and waddling around again. Watch as he takes his first few steps (and try not to squeal too loudly).
