The Salvation Army’s youth group is hosting a BBQ dinner on Friday, March 23 from 5-7 to raise funds for a mission trip to New Braunfels and Killeen this summer. The youth will be helping to expand Salvation Army outreach in those areas.

The Lubbock area Salvation Army is seeking volunteers for a count of Lubbock’s homeless. The count, which is being done by the Salvation Army and the City of Lubbock’s homeless committee, will take place Thursday, January 27th from 6 to 9 a.m. Volunteers will team up and be out on the streets searching for homeless individuals.
