In the "weird coincidences" file, we've got this cartoon, which was first published in 1949 in a magazine in Iceland. Yeah, they look fairly similar... but wait until you see the whole cartoon.
'The Simpsons' has been on the air for 23 seasons, and they've done over 500 episodes. And a lot of those episodes have featured clips from Bart and Lisa's favorite TV show, 'Itchy and Scratchy'. So someone made a montage of every single 'Itchy and Scratchy' clip and posted it on YouTube. All together, it's over 48 minutes long!
Sunday night, ‘The Simpsons‘ payed homage to HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones‘ with an opening that gave Springfield a Westeros-style makeover. The sequence featured all the maps and gears that mark the beginning of a ‘Game of Thrones’ episode and also had ‘Simpsons” characters dressed in medieval garb.
Fans of ‘The Simpsons’ were thrown into a panic a couple of weeks ago when word leaked that the voice actors on the show were holding out for more money. Fox said if they couldn’t come to an agreement this current season would be the last for the show.
There’s happy news though: the show has been renewed for two more seasons — the 24th and 25th seasons, to be exact.
