I had the chance to talk with Hunter Cooke from Abilene, Texas. Hunter is graduating this weekend from Texas Tech University, and says he couldn't have done it without his faith.

Hunter talked about his faith, which started at a young age and was the catalyst to a deeper walk that happened in his late teens at summer camp.

Hunter played high school football in Abilene and was very successful. He went on to play football at Hardin Simmons University and thought he would continue.  But an accident that injured his back left him unable to engage in contact sports, changing the dynamic of his life and leaving him wondering what was next.

His path lead him to Texas Tech, and specifically to the Wesley Foundation, where he will work following graduation.

Hunter loves Texas Tech, Lubbock and the Wesley Foundation, wanting to stay and to, in his words, "give back." He is an extremely intelligent, honest and passionate person and we are blessed to have him.

Congrats, Hunter!
