For the 53rd year the Texas Tech Carol of Lights will wow Lubbockites with the transformation of the Texas Tech campus to a winter wonderland. This year's Carol Of Lights will begin at 6:15 in the evening on December 3rd on the Tech campus. Don't be confused as this year's Carol of Lights will be on a Saturday instead of the traditional Friday evening.

Texas Tech will expect roughly 20,000+ fans in attendance this year for the opening ceremonies. The event now being moved to a Saturday could help to see that attendance number increase.

Carolers are encouraged to arrive early so they can secure their parking. Parking will be made available on the north side of campus in the parking near Jones AT&T Stadium. Parking for the event is free but is on a first come first serve basis.

The stunning sight won't be the only show at night during the Carol of Lights. The Texas Tech School of Music will hold their annual Carols Concert following the Lights ceremony. The Carols Concert will be in the Hemmie Recital Hall.

More than 25,000 lights will go into the Carol of Lights. The video below will show just how much work goes into the Carol of Lights and just how much satisfaction comes out of it from both the ongoers and those who helped put it together.
