The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is disappointed that they didn't induct Donna Summer last month.  (Donna was nominated for induction last fall, but didn't make the cut this time around.  She died last Thursday.)

The chairman of the Rock Hall's nominating committee says, quote, "There is absolutely no doubt that the extraordinary Donna Summer belongs in the Rock [Hall].

"Regrettably, despite being nominated on a number of occasions, our voting group has failed to recognize her, an error I can only hope is finally and permanently rectified next year."

The voters include 500 rock "experts" from around the world, including "academics, journalists, producers, and others with music industry experience."

By the way, sales of Donna Summer's music SOARED after her death, which was expected, obviously.

Those are mostly Greatest Hits albums, because a lot of her individual albums from the '80s and '90s are not currently available, either on CD or digitally.
