[Original Story] A resident of Lubbock’s Canyon Crossing Apartments was robbed at gunpoint early this morning (March 6), reported Lubbock police.

The victim called police just before 2 a.m. stating the suspect kicked in the front door of her apartment and stole several items including car keys and a gaming console while threatening her with a shotgun, according to a police report.

The victim also declined medical treatment, according to the report.

The Lubbock Police Department announced just after 4 p.m. Friday that one person of interest was arrested on separate charges and booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center. There was no further information available on that subject.

Police said their investigation into the robbery is ongoing.

The Canyon Crossing Apartments are located in the 2100 block of W. Loop 289.
