“Women of a Certain Age” Rioted When Barry Manilow Was Forced to Cancel a Show
Barry Manilow was forced to cancel a Broadway show on Tuesday night, after losing his voice. His rep blamed it on a, quote, "brutal case of bronchitis."
According to the "New York Post", Barry was "mobbed by women of a certain age outside" the theater before his show and when it was determined that he had to cancel, they were NOT happy.
A "source" says "A riot has broken out. Traffic is stopped on the entire street. There were middle-aged ladies losing their minds and mounted police." (???)
The show has been rescheduled for February 26th.
If you want more info, he's posting about his recovery on his official Facebook page.
